Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is the art of mindful living as your true essence. The word 'Yoga' is derived from the Sanskrit root 'Yuj', meaning 'to join' or 'to yoke' or 'to unite.'

Allison's motto is "be present, not perfect."  Certified with Yoga Alliance as a RYT200, and additionally as a Veterans Yoga Project Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery Teacher. Her vision is to bring the gentleness of mindful movement as a healing modality to release trauma stored in the body and build resilience as a way of life. All of her classes are private for her clients with occasional exclusive outdoor events.



MEDITATION

The process and enjoyment of meditation has changed Allison's life in so many ways. She evolved her love of writing poetry into creating custom guided meditations that give implicit focus on heart-centered breathing for her clients. She offers a range of meditations as a complimentary tool to begin to tap into the resource of your own honey heart to heal. Meditations will be available for download in summer of 2021.
